Duties of Trustees in Bankruptcy

| Some of the duties of the trustee in bankruptcy are to: |
1) Prepare the bankruptcy documents that assign the person into bankruptcy.
2) Review the file for any fraudulent preferences or reviewable transactions
3) Chair meetings of creditors
4) Sell any non-exempt assets
5) Perform counselling for the debtors.
6) Object to the bankrupt's discharge
